Course Overview

We intentionally designed this course so that by the end of it, you can use HTML and CSS to build any web page from scratch. Today, we’ll be building a webshop called AtopShop.

The reason we chose to build a web-based e-commerce site, as some would call it, is that the majority of people are familiar with shopping online. More importantly, it contains all the nuances a typical web application would have, such as:

  • A Navigation bar
  • Hero sections where you may include image sliders
  • Content on the left or right
  • A simple card with a title, image, content, and action button
  • A call-to-action section

Why this course is special is because it teaches you not just how to build a webshop, but also how to apply the same knowledge to build any variety of web applications you can imagine. You will learn step-by-step, gaining hands-on experience as you go. Each module is designed to build upon the previous one, ensuring a solid foundation and a comprehensive understanding of both HTML5 and CSS3.
